Main Items

Trips

Trips are the main containers for your travel plans. A trip can include multiple stops, notes, and travel dates.

Stops

Stops represent cities, ports, or locations within a trip. Each stop can have its own dates, notes, and saved places.

Places, Restaurants, and Hotels

Cruizsnap lets you organize different types of travel ideas for each stop:

  • Places to visit

  • Restaurants

  • Hotels

You can add items manually, edit existing items, move items to another stop, or delete items you no longer want.

Suggestions

On supported devices, Cruizsnap can help suggest places, restaurants, and hotels for a stop.

Suggestions are intended to help with trip planning, but they should be reviewed before relying on them. Business names, addresses, hours, and availability can change.

Common Questions

Why does an item say it could not be resolved?

Cruizsnap may not always be able to match a place, restaurant, or hotel to a reliable map location. This can happen if the name is incomplete, the place is far from the selected stop, the address is missing, or the location cannot be found.

You can try editing the name or address, searching again, moving the item to a different stop, or deleting the item.

Can I edit suggested places?

Yes. You can edit suggested places, restaurants, and hotels. You can also move them to another stop or delete them.

Can I add my own places?

Yes. You can manually add your own places, restaurants, and hotels.

Does Cruizsnap replace travel research?

No. Cruizsnap is a planning aid. You should verify important travel details such as addresses, opening hours, reservations, transportation, safety, and local requirements before you travel.

Does Cruizsnap require iCloud?

Cruizsnap may use iCloud to sync your trip information between your Apple devices, depending on your device settings. You can manage iCloud settings in the Settings app on your device.

Troubleshooting

Suggestions are not available

Some Cruizsnap suggestion features may require a supported device and current system software. If suggestions are not available, you can still add trips, stops, places, restaurants, and hotels manually.

A place appears in the wrong location

Edit the item name or address and try searching again. If the item belongs with a different stop, move it to that stop and search again.

My data is not appearing on another device

Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID, that iCloud is enabled, and that iCloud Drive is turned on. Syncing may take a little time depending on network conditions.

Privacy

Cruizsnap is designed for personal trip planning. Trip information, stop details, saved places, notes, and related planning information may be stored on your device and may sync through Apple iCloud if enabled.

For more information, please review the Privacy Policy.
